Jessica Diallo

I’m an aquatic ecologist with a passion for freshwater fish conservation. Invasive species are one of the leading threats to freshwater biodiversity. My research aims to understand the impacts of invasive species and how to control invasive species for community restoration. I’m currently studying the ecology of native and nonnative fishes in dryland streams of the American Southwest using stable isotope analysis and otolith aging. I’m also investigating the effectiveness of nonnative fish control strategies using Bayesian population modeling.
